Customer Privacy Notice
The following is the Privacy Policy of Lenox Financial Mortgage Corporation, Lenox Financial Mortgage Corporation d/b/a WesLend Financial, and WesLend Financial Corp. (the Company). In this Privacy Policy the words "Lenox Financial Mortgage Corporation," "we," "us," "our" and "ours" refer to each of these companies. The words "you" or "yours" refer to each individual who is one or our customers or former customers and other individuals who obtain or request a loan from us. How and Why We Collect Personal Information: We may disclose the following kinds of non-public personal information about you as a consumer, customer, or former customer:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms (such as phone, address, social security number, assets, income and employment history);
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others (such as your loan balance, payment history, and other account information);
- Information we receive from mortgage settlement service providers (such as consumer reporting agencies);
- Information collected from your web browser when you visit our websites (such as date, time and areas of our websites that were visited).
Types of information that the Company Discloses: We may disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above.
Categories of Affiliates and Nonaffiliated Third Parties that Receive Information from Lenox Financial: We may disclose non-public personal information about you as a consumer, customer, or former customer to the following types of affiliated (within the Lenox Financial family of companies) and/or non-affiliated third parties (outside the Lenox Financial family of companies):
- Financial service providers, including consumer reporting agencies, finance companies, other credit grantors, or insurance agency and/or agents; or
- Non-financial companies, such as direct marketers.
We may also disclose non-public personal information about you as a consumer, customer, or former customer to other affiliated or non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law.
Marketing Services and Agreements: We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
How We Protect Your Personal Information and Your Privacy: We restrict access to non-public personal-information about you as a consumer, customer, or former customer to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain safeguards which restrict access to your non-public personal information.
Sharing Information Outside the Lenox Family of Companies: If you prefer that we not disclose non-public personal information about you as a consumer customer or former customer to non-affiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures. You may direct us not to disclose this additional information to our non-affiliated third parties by exercising your right to opt out. However, the right to opt out does not apply to information about our experiences or transactions with you or your account with us. At the time of application, you may opt out by completing the Opt Out Request Form below. If you choose to Opt Out, the Opt Out Request Form must be received by the Company within 10 business days, If the Company has not received your Opt Out Request Form within this specified timeframe, your information will be disclosed as apart of the Company's policies, business relationships with service providers and as permitted by law.
Sharing Information Inside the Company: We are permitted under law to share information about our experiences or transactions with you or your accounts (such as your account balance and your payment history with us) with our affiliates. We also may share additional information about you or your accounts (such as information we receive from you in applications and information from consumer reporting agencies) with our affiliates. You may direct us not to disclose to our affiliates this additional information by exercising your right to opt out. However, the right to opt out does not apply to information about our experiences or transactions with you or your account with us. You may opt out by completing the Opt Out Request Form described below. If you choose to Opt Out, the Opt Out Request Form must be received by the Company within 10 business days. If the Company has not received your Opt Out Request Form within this specified timeframe, your information will be disclosed as a part of the Company's policies, business relationships with service providers and as permitted by law.
